Do you provide teletherapy services?
A: We provide tele therapy services only. It allows for flexibility, convenience, and easier access. We use HIPAA compliant platforms to host all of our services.
*It's important to note that while virtual therapy offers many benefits, it may not be suitable for everyone, and some individuals may still prefer traditional in-person therapy. The choice between virtual and in-person therapy depends on individual preferences, needs, and the nature of the therapeutic or life coaching relationship.

What is your cancellation/no show policy?
A: We require a 24 hour notice for cancellation or no-show of appointments (virtual) from your appointment time. Anytime after the 24 hour mark of your appointment time will result in a cancellation fee. If you do not show up to your session by 15 minutes after the appointment time, the session will be marked as a no show. The late cancellation and no show fee is $100 charged to the credit card on file in your portal. We always appreciate communication regarding cancellations (life happens, we get it!) and we will not charge the fee if we are able to reschedule your session to another day in the same week. The fee is not waived under any other circumstances.
Missed appointments of 3 or more may result in discharging from mental health treatment and services.

What does the first session look like?
The first session looks very much like an interview. I ask questions to get to know you and the issues you are facing. Then, I allow you to share whatever is going on and we work together to figure out a game plan moving forward. Since my approach is person-centered, the plan is tailored to your specific needs and comfort level with certain interventions. As your personal needs change over time, the plan may also need to change to fit your current situation. Initial sessions will be focused on also building.rapport so it feels more like a conversation. It is our goal to provide a safe, judgement free space, so that you look forward to each session.
We provide assessments every 8 weeks to reassess symptoms. By our 6 month mark of working together, we will re-evaluate treatment goals to continue therapy.
